³⁸ I will judge you with the judgments deserved by women who commit adultery and who shed blood. I will make you bloody in my wrath and jealousy.^{[a] 39} I will deliver you into their hands, and they will tear down your platform, demolish your pavilion, strip you of your clothing, take away your glorious jewelry, and leave you completely naked. ⁴⁰ They will bring up a mob against you, and they will stone you and hack you to pieces with their swords.
